So I pick one of my KCM posts at random..

The Actual KCM Title Shown :  The Truth About Homeowner Equity

I Change the Title to: "Milestone Germantown MD | The Truth About Homeowner Equity"

[Insert your "LOCAL" keyword in the title (red text)

You are changing the title to reflect your own keyword - In this case, my keyword is "Milestone Germantown MD"

***Remember, you are blogging to send a link about the keyword you want to dominate from your website. If for example, I'm blogging to help my keyword "Sell My House in MD" My title would then be "The Truth About Homeowner Equity - How to Sell Your House in MD"

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

Below, you will find a step-by-step instructions how I blogged using one of my KCM posts, converted to a local theme and helped my website rank on #1 page of Google

Producing great content consistently is the hardest part of real estate blogging.

Your subscription to KCM is a great start but there is one thing that stops your  KCM posts from helping your website rank higher on search engines...

Everyone else receives the same posts and Google ignores it because  it is simply duplicate content.

So, I found a way how to do change this and get Google to actually crawl my website and index all my KCM posts as fresh content:

This is a  Google alert I receive on a

daily basis monitoring my real

BLOGGING STEPS USING YOUR KCM POSTS

BLOGGING STEPS USING YOUR KCM POSTS

First of all, I want to tell you that I'm not an SEO expert, I'm just a blogger who wrote thousands of posts in the last 12 years. . I learned many tricks over the years and now my website produces daily organic leads for my whole team.

In the example above , I choose to bring Google's attention to one local neighborhood where I want leads from " Milestone in Germantown MD

I used any post from KCM and I convert it into fresh relevant information about Milestone in Germantown MD. Google rewards me by putting me on their first page of search results.

If you search "Homes For Sale in Milestone Germantown MD" I will show up high on "ALL"  the search engines. . . including Google, Bing MSN...etc.

This is exactly how I receive daily leads directly from my website "organically" coming from all the search engines.

I use my blog posts to "PUSH" a "principal page"  about a particular  neighborhood or important  keyword I choose to rank high.

Obviously that has its limitations...I choose a neighborhood instead of the whole city, which is dominated by all the major real estate portals.

I have several 1st page rankings from my posts...

The one I'm most proud of is about "Sell My House in MD"  or "Sell my house fast in MD" or "Sell my house for Cash in MD"

This is for the whole state of Maryland. . . not just one city

When I tell investors about this. . . that I receive leads from people wanting to sell their homes to us from time to time  and they find us using Google ....and I  LOVE to refer those sellers exclusively to our existing clients ...

We don't  have to call on them...they call on us and they stick with us like bees to honey -

So, let's go ahead and let me show you the STEPS I take and how you can do this yourself

Use anchor text  that matches another keyword that is relevant in another page of your website...

Like This:

For example, if I write: "The local association has many benefits including a swimming pool, playing grounds, parks, golf...etc "

I use the word "pool" to install a link for my keyword "Homes with pool for sale in MD"

Internal links help your rankings as well..if used properly within your site.

(BTW: I also rank  #1 page of Google for "Homes with pools in MD"  (the whole state, not just a city!) by using this type of linking strategy

A second tier post or what I call a "soldier post" has only one job...to send a link to the main post. In this example about Milestone, I write 2 or 3 shorter versions of the main post by using Activerain, Facebook Note, Linkedin post, etc, etc

Like This:  Here's my linkedin (soldier) post for this main post about Milestone in Germantown HERE*

Here is another (soldier) post on Facebook Note HERE*

Here is another on Activerain HERE*

Remember: A supporting post or soldier post has only one job...to send a link to the main post

Just know that: I also add a "Canonical tag" (please google it - too long to explain...) inside all soldier posts so Google will know that is just a variation of our main post.

We are not finished yet with this campaign. .

Let's continue on...

BUILDING YOUR BUSINESS:

Blogging is not an event, it's a business long practice. If you are just focusing for immediate results, then blogging is not for you. You will not rank #1 on Google with only one campaign...any type of blogging strategy will most likely take six months to a year for you to see the kind of long term momentum that you expect. Your marketing should be a living and evolving system that must be generated by your business on a frequent basis.
